Unable to Add Users - Autodesk Construction Cloud

Hi BIM360 Gurus

I am struggling to enable users to work in BIM360 Collaborate Pro.

So far I have assigned the full BIM360 suite of applications to each user.

Then attempted to add them to a Collaborate project via the Autodesk Construction Cloud.

But when I type the usernames into the ACC their accounts are not found.

Anyone know where I am going wrong please?

Thanks

Phil

Hi @Phil ,

Are you using BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud?

You should be able to send them an invite by typing their email address in and sending them an email.

It does sound like they are not currently in the members list on the hub or included on the project so they will not show up. If the account admin add them to the members list in the hub they should appear in the projects list when you type in their name.

Have they been added to the hub

Hi Gareth

Thanks for your response.

This is new to our team and has to this point been managed from the US.

We are using the ACC for user management (sorry the BIM360 seems to have been a red herring) - we have access to a business-unit specific all-projects folder.

The users are visible as members of that folder and have the status Active.

But - when we select a specific project in the all-projects folder and attempt to grant a user permissions on that folder, the username is recognised, but the Add button is not selectable.

Any ideas

Thanks

Phil

Hi Gareth

Found the solution for above problem.......

When the dialog box was presented to add each user, it did not open deep enough to reveal the permissions field.

Having discovered this we can now assign users with Edit rights etc. no problem.

This is one of those "feel a right wally" moments for sure.

Thanks for your input in any case.

Phil
