Some Isolated Structural Foundations are Randomly Rotated in the Design Collaboration Viewer.

The same model in the BIM 360 Document Management viewer does not look this way. Is this a known issue? Design CollaborationDesign CollaborationDocument ManagementDocument Management

Hi @SteveDFThorne,

I wanted to reach out with regards to your post.  I'd like to gather some additional information to see if we can try and reproduce this behavior.

  • Are the rotated slab elements in the same model as some of the elements that are not rotated? OR are the images showing a model that is linked?
  • Is it possible to isolate a few of the slabs (some that rotate and some that don't) into a separate small file and send that to me in a Private Message?

Let us know if you have any questions or comments.  We look forward to your reply.

Best,

Patrick

Hi @SteveDFThorne,

I’m just following up to see if you were able to gather the information @patrick.beattie  had previously requested to assist him in troubleshooting your issue.

Thank you and have a great day!

Hi Guys,

Thank you for looking into this and sorry for my delay in responding. I was away last week.

  • Are the rotated slab elements in the same model as some of the elements that are not rotated? OR are the images showing a model that is linked? The elements are in the same model and it appears random as to why some rotate and others don't. Even within the same family type, some are rotated and others are not.
  • Is it possible to isolate a few of the slabs (some that rotate and some that don't) into a separate small file and send that to me in a Private Message? Yes. I will follow up with that.

Please note that this model and all of the models on design collaboration for this project now have this problem too: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/bim-360-design-collaboration/design-collaboration-model-shows-up-as-b...
