Set a Default Value to an Attribute

Does anyone know how to set a default value to a custom attribute??

Are you talking about the attributes in BIM 360 /ACC Docs? If so you cannot edit the out the box attributes, but you can switch them off and create custom attributes which can be either a text field, drop-down list, or date.

Hey Gareth  thanks for the reply,

Using ACC at the moment,  I am fine with creating and editing etc.  Bu I am trying to set an attribute value to a default value when a new document is created

Hi @ian.mangelsdorf3ZLFY ,

It is not something that you can set to do automatically I am afraid. If you apply the naming standard when you set up a review process you can add auto increment on the status. I would suggest you put this forward as an idea in the BIM360 Ideas forum.
