Model Publish date not updating?

I have tried several times to publish my Revit 2019 model to BIM 360 Design.

In the BIM360 Doc Mgmt website / Project Files, my architectural model still shows the original publish date and v1.

In Manage Cloud Models within Revit, it lists 210 different versions.

Also, when I attempt to download the source file from Doc Menegement, I get a JSON error "Object not found".

Seems the publish process may be failing?

Hi @awatkins9XVLV,

Thank you for your post. My name is Bogdan and I am with Autodesk Technical Support.

Version V1 for a cloud workshared model (published from Revit) means that the collaboration hasn't been actually initiated and/or the files have not been published.

Typically, after initiating collaboration and publishing a model, the version has to be version V2, so something is going wrong here.

How exactly have you published the file? Have you published to the Project Files folder (recommended) or to the Plans folder (not recommended at this point). If you try to open the file in Revit from BIM 360, can you see the file in the Open dialog window, after clicking on the BIM 360 icon and navigating to your project?

I look forward to hearing back from soon.

Best regards,

Bogdan

Hi Bogdan,

The model was initiated from Revit > Collaborate... to the BIM360 Project Files folder.

Oddly, in Revit Manage Cloud Models, there are 2 ARCH models listed.

In BIM360 Design / Doc Management, there is only one listed. Fortunately, I was able to Publish by selecting the second ARCH model.

If I could find the December ARCH model in BIM360, I could remove it.

@awatkins9XVLV

Is it possible that you had two models at some point and maybe you published to different folders?

Just to make sure you're all set, is everything working as expected now?

If you are not too far with your project, maybe it would be worth removing the models (if you are not sure which model you should work on) and start again with the correct one?

Best regards,

Bogdan
