Issue with iOS app on iphone

Hi everyone,

just check if the topic was already opened, i've found a similar case on ipad : http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/bim-360-docs-forum/issues-with-ios-app-in-ipad-pro/m-p/6481665/highlig...

We've got 25 users on a project with Bim 360 Docs, few are using nomade devices like Iphone and the app seems to be unable to load files, especially when there is multiple folder in the arborescence. Even the small .Rvt files and .pdf doesn't load.

Tried relog/reboot/sync all the folders offline, i cannot load the majority of my files. Only small PDF at the root of the folder tree seems to be working

Case on last iphone 7 with updated iOS

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Hello Benoit,

Thank you for participating in our community! I just want to let you know that at this time Autodesk BIM 360 Docs is only available on iOS and Android devices. I was wondering when you say that users are using "nomade" devices like iPhone, are they using other than Android or iOS operating system?  If possible then provide more details and screen captures to further troubleshoot this behavior.

Thank you and I look forward to your reply.

Best regards,

Hi 🙂

i'm ltalking about surfaces, and iphone mostly 🙂

On iphone, i do have the a360 app and bim 360 docs together,

a360 app is working flawlessly, while the other has real difficulties reading some larges files as described

(i do have full authorizations on those files since i'm the admin)

Hello Benoit,

Thanks for your feedback.

1. Could you please delete the app, reinstall the latest app and try again to open the small file which you open failed before download?

2. If step 1 still can’t open it, try to click cloud icon to download the file, check if you can download it. The progress should disappear and show a tick icon after download complete.

3. Can you please provide the test file or add me(demi.han@autodesk.com) to the your project?

4. What the folder structure looks like? Can you please provide a snapshot?

5. Can you open it on Docs Web?

Thanks,

Demi Han
