Hi

Quantities and chnages to exisiting elemens appear in the OMPARE applicatio,

but no details regarding the new quantities of new or cancellled elemns,

 

Is there a way to see this information?

@elicr The only way to check on quantity for new objects would be the object properties. This is currently not available in the compare mode but you can check them in the normal view.

but even in object menu it would be impossible to detect new/old memebrs in the models viewed

@elicr I Agree, this isn't confortable the way it is now. You would have to know which objects are new and check them manually (e.g. have to instances open). For many changes this isn't really usable.

@elicr Just checked again, you can open the properties dialog using the context menu. Select/click an "added" or "removed" item in the viewer. Right click again and select "Show Properties". This opens the object properties dialog and allows you to click through all the added or removed items in the viewer and check for the quantities.

You can use the diff viewer dialog to zoom to the different items but have to click again the item in the viewer to show it in the properties dialog.

 

BTW: This is the workaround I can propose you now. It seems, that this is already requested and tracked, but I have no ETA. Maybe you can also elaborate on your use case.
