Collaborate Pro Trial Issues

We recently activated a Collaborate Pro Trial and are having issues with some staff, not all, being unable to create data shortcuts.  They get an error message:  "To use this command in a Autodesk Docs project, you need access to Autodesk Collaboration for Civil 3D, which is available when you subscribe to Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro.'

All users are on the same OS, same, fully updated versions of Civil 3D 2022, and the same, latest version of desktop connector.

All users have the same membership and permissions to the project and folders.

Has anyone seen this before?  Unfortunately, we are in the last few days of our trial and stuff like this really causes grief when deciding if we want to move forward with the product.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It turns out that EVERY user needs to sign up for their own Collaborate Pro trial to be able to perform these functions.  There was literally one excerpt in some obscure knowledgebase document stating this.  I wish documentation was a bit clearer.  So much of the documentation has outdated screenshots, using old marketing names, etc.

In any case, problem solved.  *pats self on back*

It says it in the error message, sort of.
