BIM360 Android app issues.

I am a BIM360 user, running my own little freelancer business and using BIM as an interface with my clients. However, been trying now on numerous occasions and on different Android devices to use the mobile app with no success. Cannot get past the login screen, on my cell phone (Samsung S9+) and my tablet (Samsung Tab 4) both running Android 10. Just to confirm, I use the same BIM360 login on my pc and it works quite well.

So what is the secret? I see this issue goes back quite a number of years, so I assume Autodesk is just ignoring it?

Regards and fijne weekend from the Netherlands.

We've had various success with Android devices and with our clients - sad to say, but BIM 360 really works well with Apple - having said that.

There are a few items you can check:

1. When you login, you will see at the bottom of your screen a 'switch data center's where you can specify EU or US servers.

2. Uninstall and reinstall the app

3. Make sure you are logging in with a stable internet connection.

Thanks, but I have been through the steps you described. I understand that it works on IOS, but there are more Android users globally than IOS....not sure why Autodesk do not spend the energy to make sure there product works for all their users.

Worst is that they do not even respond to the issue.

I am experiencing the same issue and cannot get any support from Autodesk whatsoever. The Android app has very low ratings on the Play Store due to all these issues. Android has 79% of the global market share but companies don't want to take the time to develop properly for the platform. If the answer is to get an iOS device than why have an Android app available?

I can log into the Autodesk site but when logging into the app, it freezes on the login screen. Tried all the troubleshooting steps. The tablet I'm using is new with very little apps installed so has plenty of space. I'm just trying to view engineer provided .NWD files for a project. Running Android v14 with Google Play system update of April 1, 2025.
