BIM 360 Retirement is it True?

Dear Autodesk Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inquire about the status of the BIM 360 platform, specifically regarding the retirement of the BIM360 platform (often referred to as BIM 360).

Could you please confirm whether the BIM 360 platform has indeed been retired? If so, I would appreciate your guidance on how to migrate files to the next platform. Is the new platform referred to as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)?

Additionally, if there is an official announcement regarding this change, I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with a link or a copy of that announcement. I would like to share this information with my client, who has requested the use of BIM 360 for our new project.

Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your prompt response.

I'll leave it to the Autodesk Factory folks for more information, but here's what I know.

BIM360 Teams (only available 2018 and previous) has an end of life slated for Sept 30, 2024.  This has been a long time coming.

BIM360 Docs (2018 to Current) has no end of life in sight.  The other thing that's important to note, is that the BIM360 Docs Platform is in the final stages of 5-7yr process of getting FedRamp Certification.  It's in the Final approval process I believe.  Given this information, I don't think that platform is going away anytime soon as it took a lot of time, money and effort on Autodesk's part to get to this stage in the process for that Platform as something that could actually replaced the deprecated Buzzsaw Platform.

Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is the newest version of their Cloud Platform Services for Design and Construction.  This comes in 2 versions Build and Docs (I think that's what they call it).  Build includes a few additional modules that aren't included with Docs(?) and is probably more useful for Contractors than Design teams (in my opinion).  This will be the future of the "Consolidated" Cloud Platforms for Autodesk.

So Teams (which was built on the original Project Skyscraper) is dead.  That product Evolved to BIM360, which was recreated as ACC.  I don't think the BIM360 Design and Docs is going away anytime soon.  However, I would recommend starting any new project in ACC vs BIM360 as it does provide more functionality and options.

Just my opinion as a Project Skyscraper, A360, B360, BIM360 Teams, BIM360 Design and Docs, Autodesk Construction Cloud user since 2014.

"BIM360 Teams" is much older - like from 2014-2016. It was replaced by "BIM360" in 2017. That is likely what you have been using (BIM 360.... Not BIM360 Teams). BIM 360 ran FROM 2017 through 2021 or 2022, when ACC came out. ACC is the new platform, and where they are investing all their time and effort. At some point BIM360 will likely be decommissioned - but there has been no announcement or timeline of such at this time https://tutuapp.uno/ .
