REvit Model for BIM360ops

Best practice for export to BIM Ops suggests breaking model floor wise. How does this work for multistorey building modelling. Do you mean modelling each floor as a separate model or clarify modelling all dependencies floor wise?

For multiple buildings in a campus which have to be exported to BIM Ops do you suggest modelling in one Revit model or do we make individual Revit models and link them later, and then do a merged Revit model export before we use it with BIM OPS. What is the best practice?

Hi @sandeep_agrawal

BIM 360 Ops does not support linked models at this time.  Binding models into one model is what our clients have been using for workshared models.  https://www.autodesk.com/bim-360/facilities-management-software/are-you-delivering-all-the-value-you...

You should start with the ARCH model since Ops used the Revit Room for the locations.  Then bind the linked model that the facility technician will want to use for a contextual 3D view.  Revit exports the default Revit 3D view {3D} into Ops for the BIm 360 Ops model view.

You can bring in the assets from a scheduled view, which will allow you to bring in Assets on all levels.

Let me know how I can help.

I am also looking into your salesforce Case 16894325.  I hope to have a solution soon.
