It will allowed to push the model to the more number of enduser. e.g to the workers, Currently we always lost the chance to push highly detail model to the end user workers with complicated process. Simple process can be as the following, In the drawing sheet, We can embed the QR code generated from the link of model which uploaded to BIM360 docs.
1. Whoever received 2D shop drawing , either worker or consultant can scan the QR code with their mobile phone and start reviewing/exploring 3D model without extra step.
2. Most of trade man or workers not necessary to download models. simply viewing model, together with drawing.
3. Attached images part drawing for ease of understanding our request.
Above feature is available using Autodesk drive. But we got to maintain 2 site to make it happen which is duplicated job.
1. we are using BIM 360 design and our model is at the BIM 360 Docs, it is time consuming to re upload and maintain latest model at Autodesk drive and BIM 360 docs at the moment..
2. current BIM 360 docs feature public sharing is not able to view model online but just simply download.
