Add a specifications folder ....because 99.9% of projects have drawings / plans and specifications.
Specifications should be a default folder that is setup for multi-page pdfs and versions stack on top of one another so you can get back to earlier versions.
Agree this would be a great and very necessary feature to have within DOCs, especially since in many cases Specifications contractually trump drawings. Having the ability to do a key word search of the entire spec database would help too since they are usually thousands of pages long.
Also, since this is somewhat related, @joan_allen, what are Autodesk's plans for spec management in general? A related post about creating submittals from an OCR'd spec book seems like a logical next step since Procore has been doing this for some time.
@joan_allen where is Autodesk with this? We currently have multiple clients who will require project templates and this will be extremely long to do for each project without a proper spec management feature.
Also, it would be ideal to do this at the Admin level to generate a standard base template and have the ability to fine tune a local copy when in Project Admin.
