NWD : Better control over object selection mode in BIM 360

NWD : Better control over object selection mode in BIM 360

When viewing an NWD federated model in BIM 360, objects published from Revit get selected at the geometry level rather than the "Last Unique" level, like we have in Navisworks.  This results in the properties window being almost empty.  The user needs to browse up one level in the Model Tree to get access to the object properties, thus hiding all other objects in the model.  Not very user friendly...

I would like the NWD to have the same viewing experience as we have in Navisworks using the Last Unique selection mode.

Hi @marie-pierre.lebelXBW9B ,

You can change this through the settings panel in the viewer.

@doreen.dvoretz it does not work as expected.  I tried all three settings.  You either get the Geometry level or the File level.... never the actual object.

This issue is especially valid for the mobile app. There you can not even switch in the setting the selection mode. A very important feature for people working on site with ipads. No easy way for them to see the properties of objects just by selecting objects on the screen.
