export folder, files tabel view with attributes

Hallo,

we need a function to export the table view for folders and files and the attributes.

Name, title, version, last modified, modified from, filename, number and personal added attributes.

As excel file with the link to each file in one column.

Can you check to see if the Document Log tool in today's Docs has what you ask about?

It's item 7 as mentioned in Docs' online documentation.

Hi Dong,
Thank you for your infos. But this function are not 100% what we need. Its only 50%. In this function today, I can only export one folder and not the subfolders with the files in this folders. So far as i can use it. And I can not mark the files which i will export in the list. But it is a start. But you could expand the function. 🙂

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, being able to include subfolders and across multiple folders, up to the entire project is under consideration.

The folder-level document log report now includes the custom attributes (metadata).  A project-wide report (for all folders) is on the roadmap.

I recognize this topic, we could be talking about a kind of "drawing catalog" for the project.

At least here in Finland, it's common practice to publish a catalog, a kind of index / table of contents of the whole project, containing a list of all documents + info. @joan_allen  is this something that you are thinking about?
