Admin features - Managing Inactive Users

Admin features - Managing Inactive Users

BIM 360 Admin tools are somewhat lacking and do not give you the ability to track when users last used the BIM 360 platform, nor does it give you the ability to see how much each member uses it.

The effect is that you end up with users who have been labelled as members on a BIM 360 project for a prolonged period of time without using the software, meaning unnecessary charges are made.

I propose the following:

1. Autodesk introduce a proper method by which BIM 360 Admins can properly manage and monitor inactive and infrequent users.

2. Autodesk implement a feature that allows BIM 360 Admins to automatically remove inactive users from BIM 360 projects.

Gets my vote.

I would also like to link to my post here, specifically point 3 where I outline a request for when external users change companies which flags this to the admins of accounts that the member was in.

Sounds like a great money making feature! Typical.

If you would have the option to sync Microsoft AD-group you would have this function. Than you can manage the user on regulars MS Windows accounts (if account get deactivated other removed form the AD-group same will happen on ACC or BIM 360).

please check my post:

I'd like to revive this post again, it's nearly been a year so it would be good to keep this on the forefront 🙂

It is of course a given that these features also be implemented into ACC!
