Unable to access Glue through Revit 2017

My company is currently unable to use the Glue addin in revit 2017. It works fine in 2016 however. When we click the add-in to upload to our model to the project we are automatically sent to a webpage asking us to sign up to a 30 day free trial. We are running revit version 2017.2

Dear @kohogg1782,

That sounds strange indeed, can you check something for me?

If you look at who is signed in at A360 (in the right top in the Revit screen). Is this the same in Revit 2017 as in Revit 2016? Or if you login at the add-in itself, do you use the same account as in Revit 2016?

If so, at what point in the progress of the upload do you get redirected to BIM360 trial site?

Best regards,

Hi,

yes it is exactly the same login details and account information as it was for 2016. As soon as you hit the glue buttong in revit it opens a webpage redirecting me to the trial site.

I am having a similar issue since yesterday afternoon.  I am getting failed to login by OAUTH error.  My coworker is not having the issue so I know that it is not our firewall.

Hi K.hogg,

It looks like you need to update the Glue add-in.

First, try installing the updates for Revit. Then do this:

1. In Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program > find "Autodesk BIM 360 Revit 2017 Add-in 64 bit" and remove it (all instances if there is more than one)
2. Log into BIM 360 Glue > go to the profile menu (drop-down on the top right of the window) > Downloads
3. Download and install the "BIM 360 Add-in for Revit" > 2017 version

Please let me know if this helps.

Cheers,

Luciane
