We are using teams as a storage location for continuously updated BIM models on our GM's local intranet. From the user standpoint, in 360 glue, we delete the old model, go to teams and download the new model. When we open the new model, its still the old one that we deleted. None of the updates are there. Is there some sort of cache or something to clear out?
Hi @Sboersma123
It sounds like there may be a cache issue causing the old BIM model to still appear even after it has been deleted and replaced with a new one in Teams. Here are a few possible solutions to try:
Clear Your Browser Cache: If you are using a web browser to access Teams, clearing your browser cache may help resolve the issue. Go to your browser settings and look for an option to clear your cache and cookies. Once cleared, try accessing Teams again and downloading the new BIM model.
Clear Teams Cache: Teams also has a cache that may need to be cleared. To do this, close Teams completely and then navigate to the following file path: %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams. Once there, locate the "Application Cache" folder and delete its contents. Then, restart Teams and try downloading the new BIM model again.
Check for Sync Issues: It's possible that there may be a sync issue between Teams and Glue. Check to make sure that the new BIM model has been properly synced and updated in Teams before attempting to download it in Glue.
Contact Support: If none of these solutions work, it may be worth contacting Teams or Glue support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or identify any underlying issues that may be causing the problem.
Overall, clearing the cache or checking for sync issues are common solutions to try when encountering issues with BIM models not updating properly in Teams and Glue.
Hope it will help you.
Thanks,
Matt
