Manually Changed Units in Appended Glue Model Resets with Navisworks Refresh

Hi there,

I have a merged model in Navisworks Manage 2016 that connects to BIM 360 Glue for model updates. In the whole merged model, there are about twenty appended models that are .NWC exports from AutoCAD Civil 3D. The source unit for these particular files is in "millimeters", so I have to manually change the units to "feet" to properly align the civil files with the rest of my project models. The problem that I am encountering is that my merged model does not always remember this unit change whenever a civil model gets re-Glued. For some of the re-Glued models, the unit reverts back to "millimeters." For others, the unit remains as "feet".

To me, this is a glitch in the Glue process, but if anyone has any advice for how to resolve this issue, I would certainly appreciate it!

Hello Katie,

Thank you for participating in our community! Since rest of your project models are in Feet, I would suggest to change unit of civil model to Feet prior to exporting out as NWC then try updating to Glue. Please, let me know if this helps.

Thank you and have a great day!!!
