Export Enterprise member list, update, import back into Enterprise member list

I would like to export out my members list from our Enterprise account, update quickly in excel missing information or new information of existing members and import updated excel list back into our Enterprise account members list.  Will this create duplicates?  I am hoping that it does not but does update information. It would be great to be able to do this for companies and projects. I am not attempting till I get a response on this forum.

Thanks,

Hi Bruce,

Thank you for posting this question in the forum.

The workflow you described is currently not supported in BIM 360 Account Administration.  Although members can be exported and there is an option to add members using a spreadsheet, this option will only import new users.  An error will appear if the members listed in the spreadsheet are already existing members in the account.

There are more improvements being done with BIM 360 Account Administration and this specific workflow may already be on the roadmap.  However, I recommend that you post this request to the Idea Station so that it may be prioritized specially if we see more customers request for this feature.  I did see that you have already posted some items through the Idea Station but I will include this link for others who may have not seen it yet:  https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/forums/postpage/board-id/2032/load-autosave/true

I hope you find this response helpful.

Sincerely,

Frederick

Thanks! I will not proceed then. I will post as an Idea. If the capabilities are available through Forge that would be good to know as well.

Hi Bruce,

Frederick pinged me regarding Forge.

Yes, it is possible.  HQ has comprehensive API.

This post describes about HQ API. There is a recording from the webinar, too.
