Hello Frank,
Thank you for participating in our community! This functionality is added to BIM 360 Glue. Please, click on this help documentation link “About Section Planes” and “To Work with Section Planes” to learn more about adding sections in BIM 360 Glue. Please, let me know if this helps.
Thank you and have a great day!!!
Best Regards,
Hi. Surely this is the desktop glue. I asked about the iPad app, I cannot see this functionality in the iPad app
Hello and thank you for your post. My name is Bogdan and I am with the BIM 360 Technical Support Team.
This is an improvement request that our Product Management and engineers are well aware of. Unfortunately, from the technical support site, we do not have access to this kind of information, so we cannot precisely tell you when, and if, this is going to be implemented.
However, this is an improvement request that has already been added to our BIM 360 Ideas forum which is closely monitored and most voted ideas are often implemented. Please, add you vote to this request, in order to increase the chances to be implemented. I also voted for it and I hope we will soon have this feature.
I hope this was helpful.
Best regards,
Is it possible to manipulate multiple section planes at once on the desktop version? For example if you enable front and top section planes. I can adjust the location of the front plane, but when I slide the gizmo, along the vertical axis it doesn't adjust, even though the check box in the 'Add Section' window is enabled for both.
Sincerely,
Andy Brack

Is this really not a function yet? The app is totally disabled without this feature. How can you coordinate a massive building without a sectioning tool? Is there a timeline on this?

You can do this in the the Layout iPad app which has more features than Glue, sections are created using the Filter button. You can apply either an elevation filter or a distance filter, or both.
