Can I turn off the analytical model for steel members in the whole project in BIM360?

I know I can select certain elements and and disable analytical model for each one, but I was wondering if there is anything in the settings or in manage tab that can do it by default. The only way to do this that I know about is to go to the 3D view > select the whole Project > filter the members wanted > turn off analytical model. This way works but it takes so much time and it doesn't always work.

Thank you

@Basel.Hammad ,

Thank you so much for your inquiry. We are definitely here to help. From what I understand you are looking to turn off the analytical model from a 3D view that you are viewing in the BIM 360 native viewer. Please let me know if that is not correct. This particular forum is set up for the BIM 360 Field (Classic) support which does not have a native 3D viewer for viewing any kind of models.

If you are in the BIM 360 NextGen native viewing environment, they best way to turn off the analytical model is to go to the authoring software and turn it off there and then re-publish the model with the updated visibility graphics.

If you are using Revit:

1. Navigate to the 3D view that you are publishing to BIM 360 (if you are not publishing a specific view) then go to the {3D} view as BIM 360 reviews that view by default

2. Navigate to the View Tab, then Graphics, then Visibility Graphics

3. Select the Analytical Model Tab

4. Uncheck the "Show analytical model categories is this view" box

5. Select OK

6. Sync with Central or Save

7. Publish (or if you haven't published before and are using the {3D} view just saving or Syncing with central will do)

See screenshot below

8. No when you open the BIM 360 native view the analytical model should be off on the view.

I hope this helps. Please respond to let us know if this is correct. If not please give a description of the 3D viewer you are using and the authoring software you are using as well.

Warmest Regards, Be Well,
