BIM 360 Field - Issue from checklist description

Hi,

I'm trying to find a way to avoid new issues from checklists items to have already the description set from the comments of the checklist item itself.

Situation: we use checklist to fill the safety agent weekly report, one checklist item per day, the day summary is noted in the comments tab, the answer to each checklist item is yes or now as if any safety issue has been noted. If the answer is yes, the issues are created directly from the checklist, however the description of new issues is always the text written by our agent in the comments tab of the checklist (so the day summary)... We'd like to have a blank issue.. is this possible?

Regards,

Hello *Frederico* and Autodesk Community,

I am contacting you in regards to your idea to have a blank issue when created when it  is created from selecting a non compliance answer on  a checklist.   At this time, BIM 360 Field  does not provide this feature. I suggest that you check the BIM 360 Ideas site to see if anyone else has posted a similar Idea. If there is a similar Idea, “Vote Up” the idea and leave a feedback to help us to better make a selection on what ideas to implement.

If no one has submitted an Idea for this feature, click on the “Submit an Idea” to create a new one. I would like to highlight that it is important for us to understand the reason of their request, instead of exact specifications and blueprints for how to build it. We encourage you to tell us about all your ideas but in order to efficiently catalog and potentially implement them, we ask you to submit each idea separately. If your idea is similar to another but substantively different, you should reference the previous idea and point out the differences to avoid confusion.

Our development teams review frequently the feedback and ideas received, and categorize them in several statuses that customers can always see:

Gathering Support Status for all newly submitted ideas

Under Review Idea being reviewed

Comments Requested More information is requested to the customer before making a decision

Solution Provided Turns out this idea already has a solution

Accepted The idea has been added to the products feature requests

Implemented The idea has been developed and added to the product!

Future Consideration The idea is not being considered at this time, but will be reviewed for future inclusion into our product road map at a later date

Duplicate Another similar idea has already been posted

And, finally review the ideas of others and “Up Vote” and comment on them when applies. This action can help us to better make a selection on what ideas to implement but also can help them to know more about the experiences of other customers.

@fpensa You could just put a "-" as your default issue description and this would leave it essentially blank. Let me know if this doesnt make sense, but I think this might get you close enough to the end result you are looking for.

Hi @ccook, I test your solution and it works well, thank you very much... however, I'll leave the Idea out there since this remain a workaround.
