what are BIM 360 Docs Business Units?
There is no specification in the documentation. It says how to add business units, but it does not tell us what they are for or what they are in general.

Hi -
Business Units are defined and managed at the Account Administration level. This is an optional setting for customers that want to organize their projects to correspond to different business units within their respective organizations. For example, a construction firm may have different divisions for different project types (buildings, interiors, infrastructure, etc.). "Business Units" in BIM 360 can be set up to reflect that organizational structure, so that all projects in the "buildings" group are tagged accordingly. This information can then be leveraged for reporting and analytics.

Hello,
I would have a short question. Is the BU reporting possible? For example: statistics ( across the projects, where it would be sorted by BU or is possible to show this parameter BU in Issues or Checklists?
Thank you for your help,
Patrik
Today, Business Units is included in the BIM 360 Field reports for Issues list by Project and Checklist details by Project reports. Users can then filter the data based on business units. Some of our customers leverage Business Units in their own reporting based on data they extract from BIM 360 via our API. We are also utilizing Business Units in analytics functionality that is currently in a limited pilot.
In the future, Business Units will play an increasingly relevant role in allowing customers to view dashboards and reports for projects within a business unit or region.
