@davidwhalley,
In case you’ve missed it, the Android app for Docs is now available in Google Play. We’ll be expanding the app with more and more capabilities in upcoming releases with markups and offline support coming very soon. As always, we would love to hear your feedback!
Thanks,
Ilai
Hi there,
The BIM 360 products are available to use in Asia but we do not host it in Asia based data centers yet. We currently have data centers in the US and Europe and constantly evaluating expansion to other regions as well.

Hello Joan,
Can you post a updated roadmap?
Thanks

Hi Barney,
Today other BIM 360 products (e.g., BIM 360 Glue and BIM 360 Field) are hosted in both North American and European data centers. Docs is currently hosted in a North American data center, with plans to expand to a European data center in the future.

Hi,
Will BIM 360 still run on AWS when it is ready to be used for the UK market or are Autodesk physically moving their own servers?
regards
Hi,
Yes, the notification feature will include the ability for project members to “subscribe” to folder activities (such as when new files / documents are added).

“Improve collaboration with additional notifications”: Does that involve the possibility to automatically send notifications to the project members about uploaded files or version changes of files?
Thanks!
Hi,
You can download any files in the Project Files folders today. We plan, in the future, to add the ability to download sheets that have been extracted from multi-sheet files in the Plans and Shop Drawings folders.
Is there any option to download the files or just upload for manage. Meaning exchanging documents between parties. Thanks
I’m guessing there was a big wink at the end of that statement….I will keep an eye out for an announcement 😉
Hi David,
Android has been big on our list for a while now and if you’ve been following our product updates you’ll notice that we usually respond to our customers requests pretty fast. Stay tuned for updates…
Any updates on when Android is finally going to be invited to the party? You must be severely limiting your user base with the Apple only stance?
Thank you for the question about BCF, and your request is under consideration. While we don’t have direct support for BCF in Docs at this time, we do support BCF in the Autodesk ecosystem. For example, we have partners that have built BCF importers / exporters on top of Navisworks.
If you have any other feature / enhancement suggestions, please submit them to the BIM 360 Idea Station https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/bim-360-ideas/idb-p /2032/tab/most-recent. Thank you!

Are there any plans to implement support for import/export/synchronization of BCF-files?
This blog hasn’t been updated in over a month. Can we get an update?
