Starting version other than 1

Hi,

We do the project with certain amount of pre-existing drawings that have already few numbered versions. I.e. I have General Arrangement drawing of revision 12.

As I upload it to Docs, it will auto-assign V1.

I wonder if it is possible to provide an administrator with the ability to override "starting" revision number and to be able to amend revision number of uploaded file?

Currently as designed, versioning is automatic, we can't customize it. If you think this is not your request, please feel free to post it as a new idea.

I actually looked only in this forum for similar discussion, not in ideas. So I posted my question here.

Possibly I can live with current setup as I added column attribute that allows me to mention actual revision number in free text format and I even can use it in title block to grab correct revision from the drawing.

There might be few versions of same revision in between before new revision is released so it is possible that your solution is OK.

However, it might be useful if admin will have the right to correct version number, when needed.
