I want to add attributes and have DOCs populate these fields from existing data on the Revit sheet. I can add these fields using PDFs and the information will populate and would like to do same when publishing Revit file.
Today Docs enables you to OCR the sheets to extract the title block automatically however we do not enable (yet) an automatic extraction of properties from the Revit file and populate attributes based on that.
At the moment, this is not a function that is currently setup in BIM 360 Docs. If you would like to have this feature added to BIM 360 Docs in the future, you may submit an enhancement request at http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/bim-360-ideastation/idb-p/2032 for further review. Thanks.
