Multi-Page

How about multi-page .PDF's in 'Plans' without the need for title blocks, such as Specifications.

Hi Andy,

Today you can post multi-page PDF's into a folder in "Project Files" folders today, but are you asking for this in the "Plans" area so that the Plans and Specifications can be in the same folder?

Thanks,

Joan Allen

Yes. We need to be able to view the specs in the field App on the iPad.

Hi Andy,

You should be able to view multi-page PDFs within the Project Files folder on the web application and the iPad application.  You could create a Specifications Subfolder within the Project Files and upload your specification PDFs there to view them.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Best regards,

Hi,

Unfortunately only MS Word files can be read naturally by scrolling down and content hyperlinks.

Multi-page PDFs are presented inconveniently, as single sheets that cannot be scrolled, only switched from one to another.

Thank you for providing that feedback.  The functionality to scroll through a multi-page PDF does not yet exist.

We understand that there could be some improvements made to this area to improve usability for navigating between sheets.  I recommend that you visit the PDF Page Navigation post on our BIM 360 Ideas website and "Vote Up".  We appreciate the feedback that you have to offer.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

   Dear Patrick,

Thank you for the answer and I did visit the post PDF page navigation that has status under future consideration.

However I do not think what is suggested in that post is sufficient and multi-page navigation is not only refers to PDF type of files.

So I put another post "Docs: Reading multi page files of different types -tap zones /Full screen readin" in ideas section that describes more details of needed functionality.

  Hi Patrick,

I Guess only Andy can "accept it as solution" as it is his post.
