Docs: Non-standard format of plans

Hi,

I was trying to upload couple of plans in PDF format to "Plans" folder. They failed few times so I put them to "Project Files" for now.

My wild guess was that this happened due to non-standard size of the drawing or maybe poor quality of the same.

Thing is that we starting a refit project on the object built in 1990 and number of plans are A0 high but length varies and quality of some is questionable.

Still I rather have them in plans for reference in the field until new versions will be produced. Some piping diagrams are A3 tall but done as continuous width to show all span of the system

So question is if you know what might be affecting the upload? Quality or size?

I will try to upload them again, in case that was just a temporary network glitch.

Hi,

Apparently, Docs would fail to process any files that are not of standard size (A4, A3, A2, A1, A0) so simple workaround will be just to print non-standard PDF file to closest standard PDF size and then to upload. It will be accepted by the Docs then. Tried on many files and it works.

Perhaps could be easily automated also...
