Too Many Requests: Quota limit exceeded.

Hello!
We trying using API BIM360

Sometimes We can get the following error:

"The remote server returned an error: (429) Too Many Requests." {"developerMessage":"Quota limit exceeded."}}

Are there any recommendations for using the API to prevent such an error?

there are Rate Limits in place to avoid to many operations can be called within a time period so that no individual can saturate a service

Can you precise how this limit is calculated?
By App, by client or by IP?
Is this limited only by a period of time?
