Dear community,
I'm happy to inform you that with the latest update, Forge Data Management API supports uploading a file to BIM 360 Docs.
I summarized the current capabilities and posted here:
https://fieldofviewblog.wordpress.com/2017/02/07/b
This is the first official release, and not complete yet. But it's a big milestone. Please give it a try and let us know of any feedback.

Hello Mikako
Can you please put the below comment on the page https://developer.autodesk.com/en/docs/data/v2/tutorials/upload-file/ as well as on the page
https://developer.autodesk.com/en/docs/data/v2/reference/http/projects-project_id-items-POST/
I probably spent several hours trying to figure what is wrong with my createItems API request to BIM360 Docs. Finally i had to change autodesk.core to autodesk.bim360 and it worked. The error message i was getting was not informative to make that change. Below is the error message i was getting before making the change.
{"jsonapi":{"version":"1.0"},"errors":[{"id":"301b5931-e486-4fc2-b356-e5bbc0459a14","status":"400","code":"BAD_INPUT","title":"One or more input values in the request were bad","detail":"Request input is invalid for this operation."}]}
The above note on the Document Management API and on the blog post you wrote would save several hours for many folks who follow that documentation to work with BIM 360 Docs
thanks
Karuna

Hi Karuna,
Yes, I agree. That's why I made a post. We have been giving feedback about it. Good news is that we have an technical publication person who focus on BIM 360 to improve documentation now. I will pass your feedback the documentation team. Thank you for your feedback!
