Type_Conversion doesn't work properly

standard type conversion nodes works between numerical types.

 

For strings, use string_to_float or string_to_int.

I want to:
No matter what kind of data the user inputs, my compound is fault-tolerant and can be processed normally.
It seems can't be done yet.

If you want such a generic compound that can process any type (be it strings, integers, floats etc.) there are a number of different approaches you can take, including using overloads or using the special Any type. In any case, it certainly isn't impossible. Note, this is a bit more of an advanced topic.
