Simulate MPM Sand from a plane with texture from the same plane

Hello

I would like to get the texture information from the plane and assign it to the MPM simulation.

I can't find an easy way to achieve that

Should work with vertexcolors.

Thanks for the clue.

So I can use the graph from @jooskoneman and it gives a good result, but not sure i will help me to render a MPM simulation on it
