Plane Orientation to Aero Initial_speed_direction

Hi!

I have a problem, I've created a plane, rotate it and imported to the Bifrost Graph, but when I create basic aero simulation the smoke goes upper, and I wanted him to burst according to plane orientation, any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Here is one way - just remember there is more than one way to do stuff.

Hi @sepu6

Is it possible that seomthing change on version so your scene doesn't work anymore? There are no errors, but the voxel field doesn't affect vector scope.

I'm also experiencing the voxel field node not working.
what am i missing?

@duqdl94  activate terminal?

Yes, I activated the terminal.
I was able to confirm that it works without any problems when I open sepu6's example scene file.
However, when I create and connect a voxel field myself, nothing works.
I find this situation hard to understand.

Interesting. Try to add a vector_field node on vector_field connection of your voxel_field

Oh, it's working!
Thank you so much.

Good to know. Maybe we have found a bug. Or it is normal. In fact i use to add a vector_field everytime. Try to disconnect and look what happen? IF it remain equal or doesn't visualyze anymore.

It is not a bug, it is the way that the node is supposed to work, by default when you drop a new voxel_field node it outputs scalar/float values you need to make sure what kind of data is coming in and change the port accordingly.

So what is happening there is when you drop a new one just and you just copy the property to the new voxel field node doesn't know that is supposed to be a vector type. Again because by default it reads scalar data.
