Input attributes on a bifrostGraph are not available as drivers for other Maya nodes

Why?  Is there a way to connect a bifrostGraph attribute to another Maya node's attribute?  I can see the attributes in the connection editor but I can't select them,

Hi!

I can confirm that the Output of an Input attribute shown at the bifrostGraph node in Node Editor is not "really" an Output port and also acts as Input (any connection there will be placed at the Input port).

Currently the only option seems to be to make in Bifrost a direct connection to the output node to get a separate Output port for this attribute/property.

OF COURSE!  Why didn't I think of that?  Thank you
