I cannot republish my compound

I cannot republish my compound.

I revised my previous work, it basically removes a terminal node and some nodes connected to it.

when I republish it, it prompts for this info: Existing compound is not overloadable (it is locked).

check the "Overloadable", did not work.

I restart Maya and still did not work.

I found a solution.

  1. Save the scene, close Maya.
  2. Delete the existing JSON file.
  3. Open the scene you just saved
  4. Republish
  5. Edit the JSON file just publish and delete the content related to the terminal node. If you don't delete it, this compound will report an error.
  6. Restart Maya and import this compound.
