How to create custom forces/influences in particular area only?

How can I create custom forces like vortex and wind/turbulence in a particular area?

Hello,

You can daisy-chain a mask_influence node with the influence(s) you want to modify, and connect a scene mesh to define the region to mask. The mask_influence node can appear anywhere in a chain of influences.

This is documented in Mask influences.

I hope that helps,
