How to create custom enum attributes?

I want to add a "method" attribute to my bifrostGraph node with "Inward", "Outward" and "Bidirectional" as options.  But when I create a "value" node, under the "enum" option are only predefined values.  How do I create my own?

OK, that was dumb.  Just "addAttr" does the trick.  I've been tunnel visioned in the bifrost graph of creating a value node and setting the type and connecting it to the input node.
