How to create a uv map for sphere object in bifrost graph editor?

Assuming I pulled in an alembic file (sphere), and I want to uv map it because it doesn't have a map (for some reason), is it possible to do that in bifrost graph editor? If so, how?

For a sphere specifically, you could just grab a Maya sphere which has UV coordinates. Unfortunately, Bifrost's create_mesh_sphere doesn't have UVs at the moment (we should really add that). The create_mesh_torus does have UV coordinates, for what it's worth.
