How to assign 2 different material to 2 source mpm sand in the same solver ?

Hello

I figure there is a solution with split_points_by_material but I guess this is not an easy one.

Any ideas ?

Hi moiamy

Videos 8 and 9 in this playlist run through the different ways of spliting out your mpm sources to different materials

Hope they help

To summarize :

Bifrost graph

MPM solver settings : label sources on

Bifrost graph : AIswitch -> assignMaterial

Hypershade  :

AIswitch : to list all different shaders

AIUserDataIn::data = point_source_id

AIUserDataIn::Out Value -> AIswitch::Index
