fresh install of maya 2020

double click on standard explosion from bifrost browser

switch arnold to gpu mode

render

Arnold GPU doesn’t currently support rendering Bifrost Graph volumes directly. It will render other Graph output directly such as strands, particles and meshes.

 

As a workaround you can cache the simulation to .vdb and Arnold GPU can render vdb files via the aiVolume node.
