Create a texture in Bifrost

Is it possible to create a texture from bifrost.
To illustrate this (not the actual application) I have a simple proximity map on a torus that I'd like to 'bake' / 'create' a texture from.
Ideally on locations per pixel on a uv.

Is there a way?

Use the paint vertexcolor tool in maya.

Thanks @Christoph_Schaedl

But how do I get the vertexmaps created in bifrost inside artisan?

Convert the bifrost mesh to a maya mesh. Right click onto the output node. There is the convert option. You need the latest Bifrost version for this feature.

Thanks again for the quick response.

I'm working in Maya 2023 with bifrost 2.5
I used a bifgeo_to_maya node to get a maya mesh. But I can't find any colorsets to export...

Fastest way would be to install Bf 2.7

Same thing in Bifrost 2.7.

Probably there somewhere. But I just don't know where to look for the colorsets (except from the colorset window)

Ok, it works in Bifrost 2.7.
I had a viewport update issue
