Converting face_vertex_compontent property to point component

Hi!

What is the easiest way for converting face_vertex_component properties to point_component?

In the read_alembic node my vertex color gets imported as face_vertex data, but I want to use it as a point attribute.

Currently my easiest solution is getting the point poisitions, can using a closest location compound I sample the locations, but it pretty costly...

Any ideas?

Thanks

Daniel

Do you want to average the color from all the adjacent faces to each vertex?

Yes, exactly. Or just get the geolocation of the point to be able to sample
that.

Meanwhile I got a nice solution from Stephen Yee:
