I will post here all my finding related to rendering Bifrost in Vray.

Here a first try to create a VDB and render it in Vray.

I have prepared a scene id like to share.

Its a basic MASH network with some falling spheres.

I use the reproMesh as fuel to give the flames more dynamic feeling.

I used the file chache node to speedup the viewport display.

More info in this tutorial --> https://youtu.be/4jDeRVBTpGg

In the end i write everything to VDB to get the data for Vray.

Its calculating right now. I hope i have something more to share next week.

I might ran into some troubles rendering this beast.

It took around two hours to playplast it.

Are you aware that you can import the vdb cache into a vray volume grid and shade it from there? I've not tried it yet from the new Bifrost cache (I will shortly) but have from Houdini generated vdb cache. Fast renders. From the scene file it looks like you're still shading and rendering using Arnold. Nice sim by the way.

Yes thats the next step. I did first test and vray took 20min for the self illumination (voxels) on one frame without rendering any pixel. I have to dig deeper.

The video above is a viewport playplast. No rendering at all.
