New Community Features

The Autodesk Community team is committed to improving your global experience as a member of our 4 million strong community.

Today we are excited to announce three new features which we hope will make your Autodesk Community experience even more enjoyable - and easier!

Machine Translation widget - This will allow for anyone to translate threaded discussions and read the content in their local language (Russian, German, Polish, Chinese, Japanese, French, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese). The translation is immediate, without having to reload the page you are currently in. Pretty cool and useful! Also, don't forget to visit our international forums on the bottom right of this page.

The Social Share option is back! For our social media savvy members 😉 Share interesting discussions on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and via email. You can find the Social Share widget at the top and bottom of every community discussion.

Last, but not least, we implemented a handy Notification Feed to help you keep track of your community activity. This link, when clicked on, will display (similar to your Facebook notification feed) any piece of content that you have engaged with, and has been updated – a new post, an accepted solution, a kudo. The link to that area is located within the top level navigation when you are logged in to the forums. This is something that should help everyone to navigate around in the forums and find the content that is relevant to “them”.

We hope you'll enjoy these new features and we look forward to your feedback in the Community Feedback board
