Hello Autodesk team and community,
I would like to suggest an enhancement for the Autodesk Viewer regarding Inventor model states support.
At the moment, when viewing Inventor assemblies/parts in Autodesk Viewer (in Vault), the following elements are not fully supported or accessible:
- Model States
- Design View Representations
- Positional Representations
- Finish features
It would be extremely valuable if Autodesk Viewer could:
- Allow users to select and switch between Model States directly in the Viewer
- Support Design View Representations for visual configurations and visibility control
- Enable Positional Representations to review motion or alternative positions
Adding support for these features would:
- Significantly improve collaboration with non-CAD users
- Provide a more accurate and complete representation of Inventor models in a Vault Thin Client environment
