Uploading old documents

I have a numer of old files, dwg, on USB memorie sticks made in AutoCadLT 2006 and AutocadLT 2012. These are architectural drawings of buildongs I want to want to change and and renovate.

I have Bought a new desk top Lenovo with Windows 10 and want install updated Cad programs Autocad 2017 and Revit to to continue developpning my older files. I have not managed to update my old documents in any tryall version of the latest CAD programs. What can I do?

Sorry but I do not understand your question: can you not simply use OPEN command in AutoCAD 2017 (or REVIT) and open your DWG files? That's all you need to do, nothing more.
