tinkerCAD won't load at all

mine wont load, no upload of any files.... they have gone down very fast and there is no help from the company, guess if ya don't pay they don't care.......will keep with the real sites that work and are will to help you fix whats going on, sad to see another site going down from bad customer service, o well.........

To anybody that still has this problem, you can switch to another browser and most of the times it will work. It is pretty annoying to have to switch browsers but at least you can access your models again.

I'm having the same issue on both Firefox and Chrome on a Mac. It's loads somewhat in Safari but not well.

tell me about it. I am trying to get to the models that I made and they won't let me access my models from a different device, even though both of the computers I'm using are Windows 10 and they have no difference. SO ANNOYING!!!

Nothing is free there is a revenue stream here for autocad so the product should work correctly and it doesn't. This is a direct reflection on Autodesk.

Just here to say I had the same problem, but the site actually works. It DOES load. It just takes 130 seconds to do so.

The reason seems to be an XMLHttpRequest to api-reader.tinkercad.com/users initiated from polyfill.js, which will succeed eventually but take 2.1 minutes to complete:

Due to JS minifying, I can't really provide much insight as to what exactly is happening and what the request is trying to load, since most method names in the stacktrace are shortened and all of them are in line 1:

But to me it looks like the request is probably timing out, and then it recursively retries time and time again until at some point either a maximum number of retries was reached or the JS stack limit is reached and a caught stack overflow exception ends the cascade so the front end can finally finish the loading.

Anyway, I just wanted to say: if you really need it, just take your time and the page will eventually load. Not acceptable for "tinkering", but if your project is due this evening and depends on it, I thought you all might appreciate to know that the site will eventually load.

And a side note from a software engineer: "it's free" is never an acceptable excuse for "it doesn't work". Either you put something out and support it, or you don't put it out. Whether it's paid or not can't logically matter regarding bugs. That is because when someone initially decided to release anything "for free" that is now broken, they made that decision because there was some reasonable logic as to why there was value in doing it that way. And that reasoning should still hold true now, after there is a bug that needs fixing to return to the previous state. In a nutshell: if it was better to provide X for free back then, it should be better to provide X for free now. If not, remove X, but don't leave it out there broken. The only thing that can be excused with price is the availability of resources (speed, size, priority, availability), but not the operational reliability.

Just an FYI, for me it's loading fine now, and I have not had this problem for months.

What they fail to understand is that without any feedback, even a free product can fail if they are unaware of a problem. I like it free, and I would like it to continue, therefore feedback when it's not working is critical.

Thank you everyone who has responded to me (kindly) regarding this, but my issue is resolved for now.

Just as a last ditch effort (not to keep you here, but maybe to help you and others access their work, even if only to download it for migration):

I just tried it again, and this time it worked instantly. So it appears to have been fixed or it is a temporary issue that keeps coming and going. And I could now inspect that the request is there to load your profile data (name, bio, user image resource links, preferences), so at least it shouldn't scale with something like the number of projects or so.

Maybe the server is actually sometimes overloaded and goes down for a short while. Anyway, good luck with whatever you eventually end up doing. 🙂

it stays on the rainbow blocks disappearing and reappearing.
