Does anyone know of a Software Company that automatically runs 'machine simulation' upon completing 'tool simulation', where it is not a programmer's option to decide to run the 'machine simulation'? I observed a problem where the 'tool simulation' program did not detect an error in the tool path returning to home properly. The auto clearance was checked yet the tool did not exit from the machined part completely yet when running the 'tool simulation' program it showed everything was OK. When the data created was entered into the 'machine simulation' software program the 'machine simulation' caught the problem/crash.
The programs that were being used are separate; 'Machine simulation' is not automatically linked to the 'tool simulation' program leaving the decision to run both up to the programmer/human error. Therefore I am asking if anyone knows of a software company who does not leave running the 'machine simulation' up to operator chance, rather combines the two so when the tool simulation is complete it automatically gets run through the 'machine simulation' program as an added safety precaution.
