Green Building Studio dependent on Adobe Flash Player

Hello,

I'm in the midst of developing a program which relies heavily on Green Building Studio to optimize design choices for minimal energy costs.  After running into trouble today with uploading new gbXML files, I discovered that Green Building Studio requires Adobe Flash Player, which is already unsupported by Adobe and will be blocked on January 12, 2021 (https://www.adobe.com/ca/products/flashplayer/end-of-life.html).  Will the Green Building Studio website be edited to not include Adobe Flash Player, or is GBS also being phased out in the next two weeks?  This would very likely render my program obsolete before it's even been fully developed, so I'd love to find that out before investing more time and energy into it.

Thank you,

Taylor

Hi,
I made a support request to Autodesk this was their reply
"Thank you for contacting Autodesk Technical Support. My name is Rafal Lewandowski and I will assist you on this issue.

I would like to thank you for detailed description and attached screenshots. It helped me to understand your issue.

>From that message I understood that you cannot upload gbXML file to Green Building Studio because Flash Player is no longer supported since December 31st. Please correct me if I misunderstood.

I tested this on different web browsers on my side and had the same behavior:
I asked the developers what we can do on our side to solve this problem.

If you are working on Revit model I recommend that as a workaround you export the model to Green Building Studio by using this command: Generate the Energy Analysis

At the same time, a model is generated in Insight and Green Building Studio, which you will be able to access after the Energy Analysis is done.

I hope this temporarily helps you load this model into Green Building Studio, as long as it is from Revit. Let me know if my suggestions have helped solve this problem, thanks!"
Not really the answer I needed but hopefully they will sort something out quick.

The solution does not work either because once you run the analysis in Revit, you cannot make changes to GBS (such as currency and other things). You can still add alternatives afterwards but all project information will not be changeable as they are when you configure before uploading the gbxml file.
