CSV databases

Hello,

I would like to ask if it is possible to synchronize or match the numbers in Autodesk with the data I have in external CSV databases. I have already tried different approaches, such as importing the CSV files and checking field mappings, but the values still don’t match correctly.

Could you please confirm if there is a way to ensure that the numbers from the CSV databases can be aligned with Autodesk’s internal data? If so, I would greatly appreciate guidance on the correct procedure or recommended workflow.

@umer_khan11214PWBX You are posting in a forum not associated with any specific software package, and Autodesk is the company name, not any of it's software.

Do you know which actual software product you are using? We can have an admin move your post to the correct forum.

Hi @umer_khan11214PWBX,

Yes, it’s possible, but you’ll need to make sure your CSV data matches Autodesk’s formatting exactly. Check that number formats, decimal separators, and field names are consistent before importing. Export the CSV as UTF-8, then remap the fields during import to ensure they line up correctly.

If it’s still not syncing, let me know which Autodesk product you’re using so I can walk you through the right steps.
